BTS is a South Korean 7 member boy group that debuted on June 13th, 2013. Their company is called BigHit Entertainment. Their name stands for Bulletproof Boyscouts and carries a meaning to block out expectations and stereotypes that impose on the lives of adolescents & young adults. These 3 rappers and 4 vocalists are global superstars dominating all the major music industries and selling millions of albums with skillful producing, heartfelt lyrics, beautiful artistry, and passionate love for their career.

BTS IMPACT

BTS brings 4.7 billion dollars to the South Korean economy and is estimated to bring in about $50 billion over the next 10 years. They even generate more money than the National SK Airline.
Their last concert in Seoul made about the same amount of money as the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Oympics. Recently they have broken Adele's 5 year record to have the most iTunes #1s worldwide. Cities and important buildings, like the NYC Empire State Building, light up purple for the septet.
The biggest take is BTS has paved the way for other kpop groups to become popular in America. However, they still created their own path and is building their legacy everyday.
